Following up my recent post about Madness and the structuralist approach of Foucault I cite the papers referred to the viewpoint of significant Psychiatrists (Bleuler and Kraepelin) that conducted studies on schizophrenia. Moreover, a paper about Bateson and the “Double bind theory” that so often is found during social interaction and in the family.
The AI Psychotherapy model as extensively described in “The Colors of the Sunrise,” for the first time brings in the study of schizophrenia the theory of an advanced logic and the embodied self (Chapters 5,6,14). It is offered the opportunity of acquiring a cognitive understanding of mental disorders preventing the manifestation of positive and negative symptoms that mainly have to do with the segmentation of thought, the denial of the embodied self, and a perception shaped by hallucinations, and delusions.
